Fair Hill #2

On a fluke during my last trip to Fair Hill I saw that the Delaware Trailspinners were holding a Mountain Bike 101 intro to riding course. I decided to check it out. Twist my arm again for a chance at an entire day of riding in over 5600 acres. The course was good. There was a small showing of people, but most I think enjoyed their day in the woods on 2-wheels.

Early in my ride, I passed by another settlement home. Even though the wood in this structure is gone, the rock still stands.

I think this place is going to be my new spot of choice. Its the openness of this place, the trails never end. Boasting 80 miles of singletrack and another 20 miles of doubletrack and fire road, a 100 mile summation will keep the tires spinning over new ground the entire summer season!

One of the many horse barns throughout the property.

Bridges of Cecil County

Another good ride in one of Maryland's finest
