Fair Hill #3

The legs were well rested. I have done quite a bit since my last visit. I finished school, became unemployed and have watched a good chunk of X-Files Season 1. It's time to pack up the gear and hit the trails again.

Finally a good day. It's been raining for the last few so opening my eyes today and seeing sun outside gave my legs the mountain bike itch. Today it was 84, Sunny with a breeze. Perfection!

If you ride a lot, you know what I mean. After a while all the legs want to do is turn. So I obliged them. With stuff packed, air pressure checked and spare tube a go for launch, I shoved off once again on the hour drive to a fair amount of trails in the hills.

Nothing surprises me here any more. I'm used to it wowing the hell out of me, not to mention tiring the crap out of my body. I arrived at 11a and rode straight with minimal breaks till 5p.

The trails were amazing as usual. I've come to expect a well groomed park when I come here. I'm spoiled. Only experienced a few downed trees, and minor mud.

During these trips I pack 100 oz of water, an apple, an orange, chocolate and some kind of chewy bar. Its just the right amount. My body is already in great shape so a breakfast of oatmeal will sustain me till 2p. I fuel up on my fruit, pop some M&M's and ride on.

5p. Time to pack it in. Fair Hill #3 2010 in the books.
